Okay, so I'm obviously not starting off well with this whole blogging thing and keeping track of everything i've been doing, but i'm seriously going to start doing this! I think it could actually be really fun! So i guess to start off.. a little bit about me
I am a 20 year old college student studying business and have huge dreams and goals i want to fullfill in my life. I want to hopefully go into marketing, sales and event planning for large companies and maybe even professional sports teams! All my life i've lived on the edge, acting before i think and so on. My life is full of funny stories and things that happen to me would probably never happen to anyone else but hey, my life is interesting!
Anyway.. All my life I've been very active, playing sports since i could walk. I played select soccer and field hockey since the 5th grade and played all 4 years of varsity in both sports in high school, however once i hit college i partied a little to much and becuase I didnt have all my coaches breathing my neck demanding me to run sprint run sprint now 20 push ups, 50 abs and then do it again I lost the sight of hitting the gym everyday.
My first summer after college I really noticed i put on the pounds and looking back at the pictures all i can think is "WTF!" was i was thinking. I had the perfect body and let it all go. I tried getting back into over the summer but I failed miserably and even my fisrt semester Sophomore year I still failed. It wasnt until a month and a half before christmas break that i really got back into it and actually lost around 15 pounds YAY! but looking back on it i didnt excatly do it the righ way. I was hitting the gym almost everyday but my habits were awful, sometimes i would only eat once maybe twice a day but at the same time i was struggleing with a stomach issue i had no idea i had.
During that same semester i was disgnosed with celiacs disease which means i cant eat anything with gluten in it, which means i cant eat wheat, oats, barley, rye, malt and so on. For many people this may seem like a good allergy to have and now that im use to it i do kinda lite it but it is defiantly to get use to but thankfully they have so many products without gluten that it becomes easier.
BUTTT.. okay enough about me and onto my workout adventures! So, like i said during about the end of october to christmas break i really started hitting the gym. I would almost always go with my friend Liz who also wanted to shed some pounds and get back into shape. However after christmas break we kind of got out of the rythm and only would workout maybe a few times a week if that, both our second semesters were jammed packed and very stressful. It wasn't really until about 2 weeks ago that i seriously started to change everything. Im pretty sick of looking in the mirror and thinking how much better i would look if i just shed a few pounds. I think the worst part about of it all is realizing your clothes dont fit as well anymore. I can truly say I know how to get back into shape and all of that but getting back into is probably the hardest part but once you start you just have to keep with it. Throughout my journey i'll share tips, quotes, reciepes, my eating plans, my excerises and anything else. But for today ill end with this.
