Tonight I am prepping myself to start this new phase in my life. Having Lupus, RA and Scoladerma these past 11 1/2 years I have lost myself. Tomorrow starts the 2nd Journey for me this year.
My first journey started in January 2012. I worked myself off of all Opiate pain medications that I have been on for over 10 years. Yes It was not easy. I took a week off of work to get throught the day that I did not take anymore. You asked how did I do it. I decreased the dosage from 4 x's a day to 3 then 2 etc.. when I got down to 1 a day I cut it into 4's and took a 4th 4 times a day, then 3 then 2 ect.
I then got a membership to the gym and low and behold my scoladerma flared up on my feet and ankles so the gym was put on the back burner.
Now my RA dr. has placed me on a NSAID that I have never taken before and this medication replaced 3 medications, which made me excited. Now that my feet are healing it is time to get back on the train and though I may jump the rail every now and then I hope by Christmas 4 months from now to be at least 35 lbs lighter which brings me to the 170's... funny for I never was one who weighed over 135 and that was pregnant weight.
I could use a pep talk every now and then. Of course any comments are welcomed too. This is not just a diet this is war....... I am taking back my body, my mind and my Life.
