And I should be eating HOW MANY Calories per day?

I guess when you hear you can ONLY HAVE a certain amount of calories, your body says "Oh NO!". But when you divy the calories up right you will have more food than you may want to eat in one day.
I hve restricted the number of calories I am having to meet that of a VLCD. There are days I find myself looking for things to eat to make sure I am getting the right amount of food to meet the calories allotted.
Last night I was not even hungry and didn'y want to eat, yet I did because I know my body will not work properly with the few calories I had through out the day.
I am excited to know that I find myself not as hungry as I did before starting a strict program. I am excited that it is causing me to think about what I am going to eat and how much I can have.
