So I'm very happy with my progress, in the past month I have lost just under 11 pounds. It's an awesome start and in another 4 pounds I will be down 5% of my starting weight. That's the min. my dr wanted me to lose, she really wanted 10%. But hey 10% wouldn't even get me down to my pre baby weight and my Pre-baby weight was like 100 pounds over my ideal weight for my height. I know they tell you that you can't always go by what they say you should be for your height because of frame size ect. but being in the ball park would be a nice change. And I'm going to stick with it and see where I can get because I had a big dose of Inspiration on Sunday.

Sunday afternoon I was at a craft store event and met an older woman who lost 275 pounds on her own no surgery what so ever. she told me she still had 50 more pounds to go but just hearing her talk about being able to throw away all her old clothes and being able to shop in a store instead of having to make her clothes or special order them was very inspiring. I wish I had had more time to talk to her but as it was it was just 2 strangers passing a few minutes of time together. But her attitude and success to this point will stay with me and keep me going when I get down or feel stuck.
I feel like I met this woman for a reason because I was really starting to feel down that after the initial drop of the scale things of course slowed down. Which i know from experience is how it works because when you first start you lose a lot of water weight, but now I can smile about what i have accomplished and look forward to how i'm going to feel on the other side of all this.
