Today is finally a new day for me. I had my thyroid removed 9 years ago and since then I have gained weight even though I eat a very moderate diet and try to workout as much as possible. I was involved in four auto accidents that resulted in my knee, neck and shoulder to be damaged causing lots of pain. In addition to that I suffer from migraines. I have been out of work since 2010 but I am trying to get my health back. I am at such a high number I am ashamed to say it but I currently weigh 396 lbs which is down from 409 lbs just a week ago. This does not mean I am on my way to losing all this extra fat I am carrying around but it is a start. I am limited in my exercise due to the pain and my physical limitations but I do the RED Dot workout for my abs and I do cardio with the Wii just dance fitness routines. My children are great and dance with me which boost my self esteem and since my knee causes me the most pain I am mostly doing upper body but it all helps right. My goal is to lose weight and gain back my health and independance which will not be easy with my underlying condtion which back fires seeing as I need more calorie intake to lose weight but I am so afraid to eat more thinking I will gain more weight. This is all new to me but I hope it helps.
