Exploring the Diet World

Hi

I have been exploring the "Diet World" on the Internet. I have been using different food and exercise trackers to see which is best and the answer is 'no one is perfect'. Each one I have tried offers something slightly different then the previous one. I have used the Fitbit journal, My Fitness Pal journal and of course Fit Click.

The one thing they all allow that I like is the ability to sign in using Facebook. This means I only have to remember one Username and Password combination. Yay! for simplicity.

The biggest difference in between all of them is the amount of nutrients one can track. All 3 allow you to track about a dozen things. But Fitclick is the only one that lets you look at all the nutrients at a time. The other two limit you to a display of 5 items.

However, Fitbit is the only company I know of that allows teens 13-18 to have an account. Since I have a teen I am trying to teach healthy dieting to this is a huge draw. I wish FitClick would let her have an account too.

There are of course other differences, but I am trying to keep this short. Please feel free to ask me questions about my experiences or share your won.

Susan
