So I am over 60.  I am retired from my day job - but since when does that mean my body is retired?  I am so sick and tired of being sick and tired.  Sound familiar?  I was extremely active at work (HS teacher) but now I can barely get out of my recliner.  What happened?

My doctor says my thyroid is underactive and my adrenals are distressed.  As I am combing out my hair by the handfuls and skin is like alligator hide, I should have guessed.  Oh, and the 70 lb weight gain?  Well, I want to turn it around.  Thank God for the Internet and tools we have at our disposal.  I purchased a Fitbit Clip and set a goal of 3000 steps a day.  This is about 1/4 of what I used to walk, but I have to start somewhere.  I also discovered Tom Brimeyer and The Hypothyroidism Revolution program.  Excellent direction for my life at this point.

My frustration is that his meal planning tool is extremely primitive and I needed a better tool to move forward with his program:  enter FitClick!!  I love being able to quickly build my meal plans (I am using the FitClick Gluten Free) and tracking tools, I am finally seeing a small measure of progress!  Friday will be day 7.
