This has been a grueling week - I feel like all I do is eat! I tracked my calories the first day and was down between 800-900 calories, This is about 1/2 of what I should be eating. So.... could that be why I am packing on the pounds? The Hypothyroid Revolution program says to monitor temperature and pulse. I am also monitoring blood pressure.
This week I religiously ate a balanced meal plan. I feel like all I did was eat. But the thing is, I feel better. I have more energy and actually walked my treadmill 3 min for 3 days this week. A miracle for me. So one positive.
Also, I lost 3 lbs and 1 inch. Sounds small, but afer my 70 lb gain over 5 years, I thought I would never see the scales go down instead of up! Two positive.
For next week I am going to try to add one exercise and some positive affirmations. I have been in self loathing mode for too long. My understanding says that less will do it - so starvation only. But clearly that is not true - so my strength is Pr 3:5 "Trust in the Lord with all of your heart, lean not on your own understanding" With God in charge, I can do it.
