When I signed up for Fitclick about 4 years ago, I had just had my son. I had gained a good percentage of my weight durring my pregnancy. All through highschool I was very active and fit, ate well, and maintained a good body weight of 135-140. At delivery I weighed 182lbs and was told that I would loose about 10 of that within the first couple of weeks after birth. I was also told that if I went back to my normal eating and exercising routines, that I would continue to drop the weight pretty fast.

Lies. Lies I tell you. I had a really hard time loosing the weight. In fact, I made it as low as 174 and then I couldn't loose it anymore. I began developing serious back pain and muscle and joint stiffness/pain. My workout days were dropping fast and were not looking to come back. I tried everything. I tried to eat less, walk a little more so I was still moving, but nothing helped.

I got all the way up to 200lbs in November last year. Within the last two months, I have actually put on even more weight topping out at 210 as of January 3rd. I weighed myself last night and I'm down to 206. I'm not eating as much, always hungry, and my body hurts so much that I keep making excuses not to work out. I want to get back down to 140lbs. I know it's possible.

Over the last two weeks, I have made a very strict very bland meal plan that way I don't just eat whatever. I have also decided to do some sort of exercise and moving around before bed and right before work. It's not hard to do, but its a very small routine that I hope grows to be more again. Very basic, not a whole lot of anything too special, but it's simple and easy to follow.

Rome wasn't built in a day. Baby steps, baby steps my friends.
