Here I go! First Day of the "new me." I'm at my first "goal" weight, but my stats are still a little "off." I guess that MY goal wasn't the STANDARD goal for my age, height, and whatever else goes into it, so..... I guess I'll get rid of another 5 lbs, and see what happens.
I've been following a "Sustainible Food Program" called Isogenix for a little more than 2 months, now, and feel GREAT! It's the usual 2 Shakes and a 4-600 calorie sensible meal program. I must tell you, it WORKS. I'm the original Doubting Thomas, and like him, I'm convinced. I've never had more natural energy, been less hungry, nor lost more "inches" on any other plan. I still get 1300 calories per day, but fewer Carbs, more Protien, and 30 grams of fat with what I ingest. I got rid of 5.5 lbs, and over 14 inches of whatever was inside, while retaining my lean muscle mass. Now, along with the next 5 lbs, I shall work on removing more "visceral fat" from around my major organs, while hopefully reducing my cholesterol. Lipator and I shall NEVER be friends!
I had been a "Gym Rat" for over 20 years, but after several running injuries, now have a partial "new" knee. No more running has seriously impacted my weight for the last 5 years, and I still "ate" as if I ran - carbs, carbs and more carbs. For the last 2 years, I've steadily been getting rid of those nasty carbs, and 54 lbs are out the door! I'm proud of that. I increased my Protein, and cut my portions in half for the first 18 months. A sandwich plate is what I now use, rather than that 10" dinner plate. I added more fish, began asking for a "doggie bag" when my meal was served, and it worked!
Now, I need to concentrate on a more "healthy" me. I'm not getting any younger, ya' know!
