After dealing with many health issues that began after a head injury in 2007 and a pregnancy in 2012, I have got up to 199 lbs. Growing up and before my injury, I never had to worry about my weight and averaged around 135 lbs. I am now at the point where I do not recognize myself when I look in the mirror, I feel embarressed, it is hard to keep up with my toddler, and I need to lose weight for my health. On Saturday, August 8th, 2015, I decided I was going to begin my health and weight loss journey. This blog is to help keep me accountable. Due to medical issues, I can't do high intensity workouts, but will start this journey by incorporating walking and cutting out sweets, sodas, and eat smaller portions during Week 1.
