Developer Mojang announced that Minecraft: Education Edition will launch the game on November 1, 2016 and "land" on computers running Windows 10 and OS X EI Capitan.

Minecraft has sold 106 million copies so far, and many of the users are children. It is this large number of students who encourage developers to create and build a Minecraft world in a virtual world where players can play and share with friends, and children can invite friends to play more. This also helps to encourage students to be able to learn right in the classroom by using games they are already familiar with.

Minecraft Education Edition now has a free version available for players to easily access the original dictionary when the full version of this game is officially released on November 1. The price of the full version of Minecraft Education Edition will be 5 USD per year. This is considered a fairly low price for students and children, even more preferential if Mojang and the "parent" company Microsoft call for a sufficient number of schools to participate in the "studying" program via paper minecraft" above.

Minecraft Education Edition also comes with an app that allows educators to manage in-game settings and communicate with students through the game. Although aimed at young children, this version of Minecraft is not "small" and less competitive than the popular versions for adults," when the publisher affirms that Education Edition will include all the latest updates that Mojang has released on Windows 10 for Minecraft.
