If the city has an area of wilderness, then it can be used for hunting. Some people may prefer self-guided hunting activities; nonetheless, in the hunt of certain species, there may be a need to hire a guide. Through such hunting activities, the people can be able to interact with the wilderness, as they also conserve the environment. An example of such a project is the Guide Outfitters Association of BC. It was established in the year 1966, for the protection as well as the preservation of outfitters that have a preference for hunting and the wildlife habitat.
