I truly wish I could help you with this, but Forsaken seems bound determined to crush my soul before it gives me exotics.
I've been playing Forsaken since day one and I've gotten six exotics thus far. The drop rate is very low.
However, my clanmates, who have had much better luck than me, have received the vast majority of their Forsaken exotics from Gambit. Gambit seems to hold the greatest drop rate thus far.
So, grind some Gambit, do Crucible, complete the Wish-Ender quest and Nightfalls. Good luck.

I was recommended to turn to that team of professionals Destiny 2 boost and that was pretty cool! For weeks I could not accumulate the right amount and Destiny 2 gamers helped me. True, they used my Glimmer to buy generous ones, but then all this was compensated to me with weapons and equipment that fell after completing matches in Crucible.
