Well, Day 3, and I dropped a little bit more. I keep waiting for the shoe to drop--to screw up like usual. I actually kept within my calorie range today, we'll see how I feel later. By bed time I'm usually a starving idiot and not sure how to calm that without shooting the wad.

Well, I was a little closer to my target calories today, and the scale said 2lbs less than yesterday. Two positives, I'll just hold on to that for now. Maybe just journaling each day will help me stay aware of intake vs. output. I sure hope something helps because so far nothing has yet.

I'm tired of being dumpy and old...if I have to be old, I want to be slimmer. I see patients every day and realize I really need to do something about my own weight before I am in their place. I also need to live by example for my children. If they don't learn it from me, they will have a terrible time later, just look at my own struggle. I owe it to myself, them, and my husband to be healthy and teach them how to do it. I have the knowledge, I just need the support...
