Whee!
Although I'm losing the weight slowly, I feel secure knowing that this is weight I will never put on again. My weight won't be yo-yo-ing as it would on diets (I'm on a very simple, easy to follow balanced diet.)
I'm just so PROUD of myself! I'm being so darn GOOD! Now: I know (I really do!) that down the line I will get tired of being so goo...

This past week has been awful for cravings! I was absolutely insatiable after every meal and wanted to eat everything - anything - all day long. Luckily I seemed to muster up some self control and did quite well, considering.
It's interesting though - I wasn't actually hungry, that much I know. I was getting my appropriate caloric intake and was following a very healthy, balanced diet. I think I must be an emotional or bored eater! I never realize...

I had my 27th birthday on the 27th this month, and while I only over ate *slightly* I have found that I am feeling pretty disappointed with myself. Self loathing - that's every girl's dream birthday present!
A couple of drinks and a tiny sliver of cake adds up to a lot more calories than one would think. Alcohol is not something I have been allowing myself to have: one apple martini is 300 (empty) calories! Not to mention, one drink usually turns into 2 or 3 drinks...

Joy, joy, joy! I never thought I would be so thrilled to lose some control in the pants area but that sure was some exciting news for me today.
One small little step in my weight loss, I know. But that one little step will lead to my finally being able to fit into my skinny jeans - even my almost skinny jeans would suffice!

I bought my first yoga mat yesterday - It's pink with white flowers and I love it. I figured that liking the mat itself was important. If I really like it, I'll use it. I apply the same rule to workout clothing, and so far it hasn't steered me wrong.
