My daughter keeps telling me not to play the "old Card" on her, and she wants to help me think younger. I wanted to sit and watch movies, play on the computer, walk my dog, read millions of books, go to church, sing in the choir, cook, mow the 10 acres, swim every day, and just be settled. For about a year I went for the above. However, she wanted me up, doing aerobics, thin, socializing, and being more active. Then one day I looked in the mirror and did not recognize me. From a thin active 138 pound female, I had grown to a big fat 170 obese chick. At first I just said, well this is fine, eating all that great food and sitting around. Then my class reunion was set for Oct. 31st and the thought of seeing everyone and looking like this old fat lady encouraged me to make a change. My first step was going to a nutritionist, getting a diet plan that I could live with, then signing up with FITCLICK. These were my first moves. The idea of being accountable for my food seems to make me more in control, so I like the Fitclick site and will elaborate more on my trip to my goal of a lower weight.
