Post Vacation Blues

Got back last week from an enjoyable beach holiday and have been finding it difficult to get back into the groove workout-wise. It might be due to gaining weight over the vacation, due to downing excessive, but delicious quantities of food and beer (a fantastic lobster risotto comes to mind). But it's probably more related to a desire to be doing more of the same. Hard to beat more time at the beach, albeit with a posse of kids all under the age of 5... but I digress...
What is the right about of time spent on vacation? Is there such a thing as a vacation that is too long? I've found it difficult to fathom not working at all (although I guess that sentiment could change with an injection of cash into my bank account) so what's the right amout? Would a full 3 weeks be sufficient?
Anyway, I'm getting back into the workout flow this week and will report back on my progress.
