The Beginning

I've always struggled with my weight. As a kid, I was lean in the face and soft around the midsection; that changed when I hit my teens. I grew and thinned out, but then my eating out-paced my growth. Part of me blames my mom (You gotta eat! You're a growing boy!), but it's not all her fault. I knew nothing about nutrition and quite frankly, given our level of poverity, I was just glad to have a meal.
Now, I'm a lawyer. I noticed - after looking around the courts for the past couple years - that there are quite a few big boned attorneys. More than big boned, in fact, there are several pushing 3 bills. Granted, there are several attorneys who look physically fit, but for the most part we look pretty fluffy. It crossed my mind the other day that lawyers have the reputation of being sharks, but the only way we'd be sharks is if we ate everything - that's the way it looks anyway....
Long story short, here I am. My girlfriend told me about FitClick after she heard about it from her mom. We started using it last weekend, and aside from missing the day after my account creation (something I updated later), I've been logging in and tracking what I eat. It's helped me be more conscious about what I eat.
I don't know if it's going to help me lose weight (I hope it will), but I'm gonna give it the old college try.
