Finding myself cardiovascularly

When I turned 35 years old this year I decided that I wanted to regain my physical fitness. I saw my wieght climb to its highest in all my life, and I topped the scale at 208 pounds. This was quite devastating to me. So I joined a gym, and decided to work on my cardio. I biked for 15 minutes, then did the treadmill, increasing my distance to five miles. I did this routine for one month straight. After that, I scaled back to jog 4 miles and the bike routine every other day.
I dropped ten pounds easily, but the other pounds were a definate struggle to get off. As March approached, I began jogging outdoors and laid out a four mile course around my neighborhood. I also incorproated an excersize routine I call Dee-bo, as Dee is my nickname, I basically took elements of Tae-Bo and regular excersizes and combined them into two different workouts. On one day I would work my abdominal muscles and lower legs, then do my jog. The next day I would work all upper body, and no leg muscles, then do a four mile walk with 1.5 pounds on each ankle.
Right now my wieght is 188 and I feel a lot better. I gave up on butter, cheese, and vegatable oils. I only use olive oil, and very little of that. I seldom eat eggs, and when I do I fry the egg whites. I seldom eat bread, and buy perhaps one loaf a month. I changed to fat free milk. So I can see the differences in my eating, as well as my wieght. But I know I still have a long way to go. My goal is to get to 185 or 180. I would be happy bouncing between 180 and 185, and just continue to work on my cardio.
Hopefully with this website, I can start streamlining my diet plan and visualize the calories burned, and the caloric intake.
