I have struggled with my weight since freshman year of High School. Being a bigger gymnast, I was always the fat one in a tiny world. At the same time gymnastics was a scheduled physical activity that kept me in shape, without a choice. Now that I've graduated college, my gymnastics career is done and life of scheduled physical activity and living in a leotard is over. I need to figure out a way to slim down and live a healthy life style. One of my biggest obstacles is my love for sugar. I am definitely addicted to it and need to figure out a way to live with much less of it in my diet. About a year ago I was at the same weight I am now. I counted calories and lost about 10 pounds. Although I wanted to lose 20, I was happy with my accomplishment. I began eating poorly again and my weight started steadily increasing. Now I'm back to where I began. This time, I am going to lose 20 pounds, keep it off, exercise regularly, and live a happier healthier life. I just hope those damn cravings don't get my way this time!
