Sticking with it

Today was day 9 of my diet. I feel like if I can stick to my diet until the end of this month I'll be able to see changes which will encourage to me to continue to my goal of 160lbs. I realized its not really so much what I eat, but its how many calories I eat. I went out with my sister for dinner yesterday to east side marios and had 2 bowls of italian wedding soup 1/2 loaf of bread and about half my pasta serving. All together the total caloric intake was about 712. However at lunch caloric intake was 495. Even with a couple snacks throughout the day I was still within my range of 1350-1450. This really makes me happy that I can still enjoy eating out when I desire to, just as long as I keep in mind my calorie range and limit....
I was able to have the other half of my pasta from east sides for lunch at work the next day, which was nice.
