The first step is always the hardest

With the help of a great friend, I was encouraged to get up and hit the gym last night. I felt amazing afterward. As amazing as one can feel being exhausted, hot, sweaty and in pain from my muscles burning. It was all worth it though. Yesterday night was the first step to a healthier me. I've tried before and given in to my old eating habits but this time I'm determined to lose the weight. I'm going to slowly start eating better and I've started day 1 of my workout routine. With the help from a wonderful boyfriend and great support from friends, I know I can stick with it.
