Alright. So yesterday was pretty good, went for a run before class in the morning, and then went for an evening workout. did all my strength training but the gym closed before i had a chance to do any cardio...oh well...my calories were pretty good too. Just one problem. I read in fitness mag. that drinking lots of water can help you flush fat and toxins out of your body. so yesterday i drank 12 glasses (of like 250ml each). 5 of those were all at once, during and before my workout. Afterwards i went to weigh myself, and i weighed 129...up from 125 2 days before. i worked out both those days and my calories were in my range, nothing fatty, lots of veggies...could that have been water weight?! apparently some people can retain water when they're dehydrated, causing temporary weight gain. the solution? more water. oh, and vitamin c as well. so today ill continue with my water routine, aiming for another 12 glasses, and maybe replace one of those with some cranberry juice for some vitamins. hoping this works out, i kinda freaked when i saw the number...oh well, its a brand new day. smile :)
