Thanksgiving--new first day

What a day to begin a diet but I got on the scale today and was hit with reality. I wasn't cooking turkey anyway...I was making poppy seed chicken so I simply made myself baked skinless, boneless chicken breasts, broccoli, scalloped potatoes and ate one 1/2 deviled egg. I actually didn't eat all my calories today and I can't imagine forcing more calories on myself this late so I'm going to bed completely satisfied and happy with this first successful day. We own a restauant and I will be back at work tomorrow....pray for me. But I really want to get healthy and fit. I know all days won't be so easy.
