On the Road

Was down another half a pound on R2P2D7. I figure I'll be good for half a pound a day for the next couple of weeks. I don't expect more than that in round 2.
Today we drove to Williamsburg to take the boys to Great Wolf Lodge. I actually didn't cringe when I looked at myself in the mirror wearing a bathing suit. Still some places that need work (like the belly fat left from having twins almost 10 years ago--time for a tummy tuck.) But all in all, not terrifying!
I'm glad to be on a diet while here since there are lots of tempting treats, like finishing my kids fries when they run back into the water, or the bar that does take out draft beer so while my kids are doing magiquest I can sit and enjoy an adult beverage. I cooked yesterday and brough two days worth of food down here. There's a fridge and micro in the room so I'm good for 48 hours. This is much easier than when I have to fly somewhere and there are no fridges or microwaves in the room.
I'm thinking I'll push through to the 23 days if I can stand it. I have a trip to Miami on January 11-12 so that'll be tough, but other than that I should be okay until the 23rd of Jan without other travel, so if I'm not totally done by day 17 I'll stick it out for another 8 days.
