I weighed in at somewhere between 132-133 today. I was at the gym yesterday for a long time. I burned 725+ calories in cardio (I always run a little over a mile first, then move to an eliptical of some sort). I did 15 minutes of ab workouts and 15 minutes of lifting- 100 reps for triceps and 100 reps for hip add/abductors. I'd really like to get a stronger back and to not have fat bulge by my armpit where the bra hits. Sat in the sauna, did some stretches (it was empty), for 30 minutes and sweated out some water weight. Drank a bottle of water. Needed to drink More water. Before the workout I had Kashi cereal. After, I ate an eggwhite omelette (2 eggwhites + nonfat turkey + green pepper diced)

Unfortunately had a craving for a ice cream, so I bought the lowest calorie italian ice Turkey Hill Mango to curb the sweet craving, and a single serving cup of Turkey Hill Vanilla Bean to enjoy with some gummi bears. Ice cream is my favorite, I haven't had it all winter break!!

Today: 630 calories in cardio. 10 minutes of abdominal crunches and 7 minutes of lower ab pull-backs and ceiling kicks (trying to get rid of lower ab pouch). Then I did 50 reps on a machine that kind of works like a rowboat to work the muscles in the middle of your back and your triceps.

Quads have been killing me because I work out my legs a lot more than other parts of my body. I am trying to keep up on the cardio, but I've started using different machines and intervals more, since I can tell my body is getting bored of this routine I've been doing for a long time. (At school I would only have time to stick to one machine, because the lines can be kind of crappy at the gym at certain hours of the day.)

To relieve muscle pain and tension, I always go in the sauna for at least 15 minutes. It depends on your age and your health obviously for how long you should stay in. It just feels good.

FOOD CONSUMPTION: 3 slices of nonfat ham and 1 slice nonfat turkey with 3 pieces of deli American cheese. Plus a bowl of Kashi whole grain honey cereal and a cup of skim milk. That was before my workout, so a good portion of those calories (especially the cheese) is now hopefully getting transferred into something helpful for my body. I really love Kashi cereals for a before-workout meal. I always wait at least 45 minutes before working out after eating.

Tonight for dinner I'm going to have grilled salmon, rice, and Chinese vegetables.

I've drank 2 liters of water so far. But I'm about to drink some more. Plus a cup of orange juice, because everyone is getting sick with a terrible flu and I'm avoiding it by avoiding people + staying healthy. :)
