So I have been using this site for 9 days now and I have lost 2.4 pounds so far. I guess there really is something to watching what you eat and exercising....who'da thunk!! LOL
Its been a lot easier than I expected b/c you can eat everything you want...just in moderation. I look at that piece of cake and I better really want it if I am going to waste calories for it...more times than not I don't want it..and if I am going to eat a piece of cake, it is going to be the best damn cake ever...
I have realized though over the last 9 days where my weakness lies...snacks...not snacks during the day, but at 8pm I am not really hungry, just bored...so I figured out the correlation between watching tv, 8pm and wanting to snack. So now I ask myself if I am hungry or bored. It has worked wonders and I think that is why I am losing the weight. No more 8pm snacking and if I do snack its something like celery and some peanut butter.
This blog is for me, for me to say to people, I get it, I finally am ready to lose weight. I had my aha moment over Christmas. I was at a party and a girlfriend from college was there. She has always been the tall, pretty blonde, blue-eyed girl that guys fawn over. Absolutely adore her. Well at this party she said she needed something and I was literally pushed out of the way so that someone could get to her. That was when I made the decision to finally get rid of the weight I gained once and for all. I never want to feel like that feeling again. I never want to feel invisible, ugly, fat, unimportant again....
