Yes that title is how I feel right now...UGH...not little ugh...but capital UGH...
I got completely offtrack a few weeks ago, went out 4 days in one week for dinner, ate cake 3 times, didn't exercise as much. And so now I am paying the price. I haven't lost any weight, just stuck, stuck at the same 15 pounds loss. So a couple of weeks ago, I had my first gain. Gained 2 pounds, was pretty depressed about it, but knew it was because of the lifestyle I led for a week. Eating out, birthday cakes..not cake..CAKES...not exercising as hard as I should. So then it took me these last 2 weeks to lose what I had gained and one extra pound. So this past week was blah, felt sick, had no energy. I still tried to do something every day even if it was just walking on the treadmill for 10 minutes..
I stopped stepping on the scale every day..it was getting a little obsessive. I even put a piece of paper on the scale that says DO NOT STEP ON SCALE UNTIL FEB 18th...lol...

So I thought maybe last week when I had only lost .2 pounds that I might be plateauing already..so I tweaked my calories by 20. I just dropped it down 20 less..not much, but it seemed to have helped. I am officially down 9.8 pounds in 35 days. Almost at the 10 pound lost mark.. Yes that's a great amount and yes I should be proud and of course yes I want it to be more..but baby steps. I had a couple of bad days, didn't really eat badly, just too much, but oddly enough didn't go ove...

So I have only lost .2 pounds in the last week, which brings my total for 28 days to 7.4...Oh I just wanted that pound more so it was 2 pounds a week..but oh well. I think I need to tweak my diet a little better. I am eating the right amount of calories but I think I am not eating the right foods. I don't think I am eating enough protein, my protein is never high enough. I realized yesterday that it has been a month...

So its day 21, and so far I have lost 7.2 pounds. I am going to try and aim for a whole 10 pounds gone before 28 days...don't know if it will happen but I am sure going to try.
Its week 3 of my run 5k in 6 weeks and I must say I do feel stronger and I can run longer but I think I might have to reevaluate it. My knees are just in too much pain at the end of each session, so I was thinking I might try to do a 5k is 12 weeks, just to get my legs/k...

So today is Day 14 of my lifestyle change. I stepped on the scale this morning...3 times...I still expect the scale to go up and not down...but I am officially down 4.8 pounds. I know some people would want more gone at 2 weeks, but I figure slow and steady wins the race. I want to lose a total of 90-100 pounds so I would rather do it slowly and have it stay off forever than quickly and have it come back.
