Why I am doing this!

Just over a year ago I lost my other half to a heartattack and he was only 34 years old. It was a kick in the pants for me and his 2 children. For the last year we have lost 3 relatives to medical conditions that could have been prevented if they had taken care of themselves. It has really hit my son hard and he keeps asking me not to die on him. Poor little guy, it has taken me a year, but I have finally decided its time to take care of myself and show the kids that I want to be here for them. I joined a gym last Friday so I don't have much gym time in yet but I found out that my heart is strong and I really have to push myself to get my heart rate up. I was so happy I cried my stamina is low, but I will work on that too. I weighed in at 162 and my goal is to get down to 115 and tone everything up. I'm only 5 feet tall. Its going to be a battle but I'm ready for myself and my children.
 Ok off to the gym, Wish me luck. :)
