Finding some motivation...

So this past week was blah, felt sick, had no energy. I still tried to do something every day even if it was just walking on the treadmill for 10 minutes..
I stopped stepping on the scale every day..it was getting a little obsessive. I even put a piece of paper on the scale that says DO NOT STEP ON SCALE UNTIL FEB 18th...lol...

I went to the doctors yesterday and did step on the scale there. I did it quickly so I think I am down another 2 pounds from last week but I am not sure, it was hard to read. Being sick for the last week has made my motivation fall a little, it takes forever to make it a habit and one day to lose it all...lol..

I bought some more workout equipment though, skipping rope, 8lb medicine ball, boxing gloves. Something to change up my workouts. I must say I can't skip to save my life, I must look very funny. I like the medicine ball, it add that little bit more to sit ups. I was doing knee bends, stand, put one knee on the ground, get up and switch legs. A week ago I could barely do 20, now I can do 20 easily, so I am going to add another 10. I have been working hard on strengthing my legs, so weak..

I am hoping that on the 18th when I weigh myself again that something has come off even if its only 1/2 a pound..just to help my motivation. It can be so hard to stay motivated. I think that's why I write myself a blog so I can see my progress and know I am trying my best to have this whole lifestyle change. Its just not talk, its actually actions.
