Week 1

I'm 5 days into my weight loss plan and I feel pretty good. I haven't started to see any results yet, but they should show up soon with what I have been doing. I eat between 950-1500 calories a day, really watching the carbs, and walking between 1.75- 2.5 miles every day.
I found this site last night and love it! I entered all of my info for yesterday, and love went back 3 days so that I could see my progress. I love that I can choose a plan that shows me the ratios of carbs, fat and protein i should have each day to meet my goals. I love that it can generate menus for me. So many reasons to love this site, and I am thankful that it is here.
Since yesterday, I have learned that soda is absolutely horrible for me! Even diet soda has a lot of carbs. One thing I know about myself is that my metabolism is slow, and carbs are not ideal. I was already in progress of weaning myself from soda drinks, but now know how important it is to keep those unnecessary carbs out of my diet!
I am excited about the path I am on, and hope that I can keep to it. I am graduating from college in June, and getting married in July. I want to look my best for both occasions and intend to work on this like I do anything else in my life: 110% plus some!!
