I wasn't eating
enough!!! I knew that this could be an issue, but I didn't think it was an issue for me...
Ok starting over. The site says I need 2050 calories. I thought that was the "to not gain weight" number... not the diet number. I'd read that the minimum amount of calories you should eat is 1200, so that is what I was doing.... wrong~! Apparently for my weight and what with working out and doing weights, 2050 is the calories I should be eating to lose weight!
Its been a challenge this week adding those calories back in because I'd gotten really used to eating so little. Then there was the added frustration that I'd put on 2 lbs... I just couldn't believe it and was seriously starting to doubt the 2000 thing...
But then yesterday my sister wanted to weigh herself.. and so I halfheartedly hopped on the scale myself even though it was still 2 days early.
Hooray I'd lost 3 lbs!!!!! That puts me back 1lb below what I was before I gained back those 2 lbs.
I still was a doubting Thomas and so I went and used their other scale as well for a second opinion and they matched.
Now I know I say "healthy" is the goal here... and I truly do mean it! BUT weight loss is apparently the proverbial "cupcake on a stick" that is inspiring me to keep at this, I guess I just didn't realize how much it made a difference to my motivation!
