Motivation....

I managed to lose 5 lbs. my first week. And no I didn't starve myself. I stayed within 1200 - 1300 calories per day, watched my carbs and at times went beyond my protein allotment. This has become my motivation to continue. I live by the 80/20 rule. 80% of the time I adhere to eating properly, 20% I eat whatever I want (in moderaton of course). This philosophy keeps me balanced so that I don't feel deprived. I understand the function of food, food combination, as well as using supplements that can help you achieve your goals. (non-stimulating, so I don't have heart racing, insomniac effects). I realize the importance of educating yourself on how foods affect your body, so that you have more control. 80% of the time I choose to eat foods that will give me the optimum advantage of losing weight rather than eat aimlessly. Second week here I come!!!!
