Wow, fast food really does do your diet in! I was in a hurry so I stopped by Whataburger and got some chicken strips and Powerade instead of soda. WOW! I almost hit 2,000 calories today. That was a BAD mistake. If I have to do that again I won't bet getting the meal and will only get 1 chicken strip to tide me over. OR better yet, how about pack a lunch at take it with me! That sounds like a plan. I ate really good the rest of the day, and I only got two green check marks on the diet tracker. I hit my goal for Carbohydrates, so that was green, and I stayed under 300 mg of cholesterol by only hitting 99mg. I don't go over on cholesterol very often, because I don't eat meat very often. I eat a mostly vegetarian diet, and throw in some chicken/fish from time to time. I guess chicken from Whataburger is NOT the way to go. )-: Well, at least I stayed under 2,000, I know that is not a BIG accomplishment, but it is something. I WANT to get the green check marks, but at least I didn't blow it big time today. The rest of the day was good, I just wish I had gotten more calcium and iron in. That's ok, I will do better tomorrow. I can't dwell, after I am done with this blog it is over, I can't quit just because of a bad day. Well, thanks for reading, and good luck to you in your quest for better health. (-: Jennifer p.s. I cheated and took an Iron supplement, and a Cranberry supplement to get my Vitamin C and Iron to be green check marks. I don't have any Calcium pills here, or I would take one of those, too. I prefer to get my Vitamins from natural sources, but something it better than nothing. )-:
