Cravings and too much sodium!

Ok, I'm doing good with the vitamins, and today I went over my fat intake, but not by too much. But I'm still over my sodium intake by more than double, it's almost triple. This is a big concern. I don't eat that bad, or at least I thought I didn't! Tonight I have a craving for something, but I'm not sure it's really because I'm hungry, I am an emotional eater and I'm irritated. So, I default to heading into the kitchen. So, instead of getting a huge bowl of ice cream I limited myself to 2 s...

Yoga and green check marks!

So, I got mostly green check marks on my diet tracker, I'm still going over on Sodium, and I am not getting enough Iron or protein. And I am not hitting the recommended 8 glasses of water. I went over on calories by about 50 calories...so that is not too bad. All in all it was a pretty good day, and I did some yoga to top it off. I'm sure the Yoga did not burn tons of calories, but at this point, even 1 calorie helps out with the overall cause. (-: I am pretty sore from trying yoga yesterday...

Frustrating!

Wow, fast food really does do your diet in! I was in a hurry so I stopped by Whataburger and got some chicken strips and Powerade instead of soda. WOW! I almost hit 2,000 calories today. That was a BAD mistake. If I have to do that again I won't bet getting the meal and will only get 1 chicken strip to tide me over. OR better yet, how about pack a lunch at take it with me! That sounds like a plan. I ate really good the rest of the day, and I only got two green check marks on the diet tracker. I ...

Too much sodium, not enough calcium!

I am hitting my target for staying under a certain amount of sugar, and doing really well on keeping the fat under the target. I am just going over the calories every day, getting twice as much sodium, and not hitting my target for Iron or Calcium. I need to add some veggies to my diet. I am not really eating anything that is particularly bad, but it seems that all added up it is not hitting where I need to be. ........................................................................................

So, my first day was not a success, I ate Fettuccine Alfredo, and even thought in itself is not bed, I ate 2 servings. THAT is what killed me. For 2 days now I have come within my range, and all I did was pay attention to what I was eating. Is it REALLY that easy? I am actually UNDER my calorie goal for the day and I ate curry. I made yummy potato curry on white rice and even ate a piece of pita bread with it. ????? I'm confused, so many years spent in the military stressing over it, and all...
