So, I got mostly green check marks on my diet tracker, I'm still going over on Sodium, and I am not getting enough Iron or protein. And I am not hitting the recommended 8 glasses of water. I went over on calories by about 50 calories...so that is not too bad. All in all it was a pretty good day, and I did some yoga to top it off.
I'm sure the Yoga did not burn tons of calories, but at this point, even 1 calorie helps out with the overall cause. (-: I am pretty sore from trying yoga yesterday, too. I'm at the point of merely being able to pretend I'm in the pose...although I'm pretty good at the plank pose, you know...the one that you lay flat on your back on the ground and breathe...(-: I am too fat to be able to contort into those positions, so I sit in my living room, with my Pit Bull helping me out. She really does try to help, when I need to get up she sits up and steadies herself so I can stabilize on her. She even lets me use her as a leg pillow to keep my knees bent....she is SO funny. I think she tries to mimic me, and can't figure out exactly what I'm doing, but she enjoys being told good girl, so will do anything I ask of her.
SO, back to yoga, I am still too fat to be able to do the poses correctly, and it seems that I will be too fat for quite a while, so I have to modify them. I have found SOME places on the 'net that talk about Obese Yoga, but I sure wish someone around here would start a fat persons yoga class. Until then, it's me and youtube in my living with my Pit Bull as a pillow. (-:
Good luck to all, and don't forget.......
