Hello blog! I see I haven't been on here since April and a lot has happened. I graduated from college, the kids have come home to roost, and it's a wonderful summer. I have been trying to get a job to no avail, so I finally decided after a lot of research and contemplation to begin a journey of cleaning out my system and dealing with this body.

Over the past couple of months I had lost about 10 lbs just walking, watching what I ate and cutting out cheese, sugar, white flour, etc.  So I decided to begin the Master Cleanse.

Today is my 10th day and I am down to 167 lbs. Tomorrow I eat nothing but orange juice and I am really looking forward to it, although it sounds dreadfully gassy!

The next day I get to eat this yummy soup and for that, I am so excited! I'll be weaning off the soup onto a 5-5-5 juice fast alternating with raw foods, 5 days on each until the rest of this weight is off me once and for all. I'm planning to at least go until Lucie goes back to school, and probably on through September. Then we go to Tennessee for 2 weeks, so it may be a little challenging, but I'm really looking forward to the changes that I know are going to continue to take place emotionally, physically, and spiritually. I just want to be slim, healthy and a great temple for God to indwell. Maybe then I will get just the right job or situation where I can earn some money!
