Day #2 Sugar Overdose

Today was a good day to go running, even though it was dreadfully hot outside. I ran about 4 miles with my sister (she is my exercise buddy) and did my abs, and sides. I feel pretty great because I am doing an hours worth of cardio and working out on top of that. I'm still in the process of finding an everyday meal plan, considering that i want to keep my calories under 1300. I am still struggling with all the sweets and all, but hey... who doesn't go through the withdrawal of sugars and fats. Remember: these things are your enemy, unless you eat this in moderation which is typically hard considering that our bodies "over do it" most of the time. We usually say to ourselves... one cookie isn't going to hurt until we find ourselves a couple moments later reaching for another one....and then a little later reaching for another, I KNOW THIS... because it has happened to me so many times! It's all about in the moment though! YES, in the moment it tastes delicious and this is why you repeatedly grab some more. But before this happens next time ask yourself, "Is eating 2 cookies better than the outcome of just a bite!" Let's face it all this stuff makes us feel bloated (especially when you "over do it!") but there are ways to settle this over and over again mistake. This my friend is called, "MODERATION!" Exactly, eat in moderation. Tell yourself, "Ok, if I take a bite of this cookie tonight then I know that I won't have to tear myself up about it tomorrow, and knowing this I can have one more bite of that same cookie the next night" See it all makes sense, but with some will power and moderation to your eating lifestyle I'm sure that a lot of these temptations will be much easier to control (like the next time you go out to eat dinner)! But who am I kidding, there are very few people out there that really take this advice and apply it to their everyday meals. Then again, you guys probably think that I'm a little insane or over the top with this issue, but i promise... just try this for a week... ONE WEEK is all I'm asking! You'll see the results and you'll love and thank your body for it! :)
