My after-run energy boost / Day #4

Today I was extremely exhausted! It was my 4th day of the (about) 4 mile run, that I have been doing everyday this past week. When I got home from running, I realized that I needed something to boost my energy for the rest of the day. I know that my body isn't used to this kind of workout because I just started this week. So i came up with a meal replacement shake for lunch and I love it. I mix in 1 banana, 3 frozen strawberries, 4 icecubes, water and 1 scoop of vanilla whey protein. Another shake that I love is called a green smoothie which I will post about another time. Cheers to ENERGY! Today was so hard, considering that I have been running about 4 miles every single day this week! My calf muscles and lower abdomen hurt...I guess that means that my body is really working out. A hour of exercise a day I hear is really healthy, so I am trying to pursue this fact. I am so happy for this weekend because I will get to relax for 2 days! I have officially stopped making scones for now, so maybe I will stop feeling this temptation of eating them all the time... lol... The end result has felt great though, so a shower seems pretty nice right now! Cheers to feeling great and to one more day of this week to working out!
