And It Starts.......

Okay so I didn't end up starting on  Monday like I said I would - the girls that were supposed to come and work out with me didn't have the energy after eating our turkey dinners to make it, however we did start on Tuesday and have followed our workout plan to the "T" up to this point. I find that for myself if I start to work out than I want to eat better because every time I look at food that isn't the healthiest option my body yells at me about how much work I will have to do to compensate for it! Our routine consists of a 7 day a week schedule. On days 1,3, and 5 we do beginners weight lifting ( let me tell you that at 5lbs it doesnt feel like beginner anything!!!!) and on days 2,4, and 6 we do 45 minutes of high intensity cardio and on day 7 we do an hour of low to medium intensity cardio. Feeling pretty darn good too. Tuesday is our next weigh in/measurement day so I will have to post how that goes. So far everyone is enjoying it and we look forward to getting together each day to laugh at the look on each others faces when we feel like falling down.

It is really hard to stay on this road by yourself, if you haven't found a workout buddy yet - I strongly suggest that you do - we pull each other through the rough spots. I have a very supportive husband - but he doesn't work out with me - you can't cheat yourself with everyone watching and when you see how hard they are working out it makes you want to work that much harder! Its wonderful! So for those who have to go it alone, I have so much respect for you because I couldn't do it!

Hope to post again soon.....
