Lost my stone as slimming world in time for my brothers wedding last year November. Since then have slowly gained back aroung 6lb. Totally taken my eye of the ball and left slimming world as I was obviously not focused.
I'm here now because I got a rare night out. Was a themed 1920's night. Great, until I saw mates photos. I looked like one of the nutty professors family members....ok a bit of an exaggeration, but I didn't like what I saw.
Made a pledge to my self to lose 3 stone in the next 4-5 months. It is achievable if I stay focused and exercise at least 3-4 days a week. And if I have a bad day, not turn it into a bad week, then month.
This is day two since the pledge. Zumba yesterday and today and 1600 cal diet with very low fat intake. According to my progress, should be losing 2.7lb if I keep up this rate. I want to be losing on average 2-3lb a week ongoing, but for the first 6 weeks, 3-4lb if im lucky!
Feeling good, and not starved or deprived, in fact happy to be in the kitchen creating low fat meals, instead of reaching for the take away menu.
Long may this attitude continue. Nothing like a dodgy photo to spur you into action.
