So, Father's Day weekend was not the best for me. I learned a huge lesson that I just simply cannot 'slack' for 2 days. I did walk twice Saturday. So not walking Sunday was not a huge concern for me. However, the problem was how I ate. I only went up 2 pounds. I am still at 269. Under my 270 limit. I just cannot do that again.
I immediately got right back on it Monday morning when the scale yelled at me. I will from now on only splurge 1 meal a week. And that meal will be counted calorie wise and calculated into my daily allowance. So if that meal is 1500 calories in itself, well then that's what I'll eat.
I have come way too far to go backwards. I am actively correcting my slip up which in and of itself is a huge battle won for me. Usually that would spiral me into giving up. It's ok. I will continue on.
It is so darn hot where I am and I wake up at 5:30 or 6 in the morning to get my walk in before it gets too hot (i'm so sensitive to the heat!). I will continue to do that. I take a nap later before going to work. So I adjust my schedule and my eating for this weight loss.
