Well, after finally earning my Bachelors Degree and quitting smoking, I decided that the next challenge I wanted to conquer was to lose a substantial amount of weight. Things went well over the last week. I've enjoyed using FitClick Diet and Workout Tracker. It feels great to see the numerical success on a daily basis since it takes so much time to see a physical difference.
Today, I had my first setback. I purchased a new scale because the one I'm using is ancient and can vary by five pounds in a day. The new scale is beautiful! Unfortunately, it also told me that I weigh 3.6 pounds more than I logged my starting weight to be. Therefore, instead of seeing that I lost 2 pounds in a week (which was what I saw on my original scale) it looks as though I have managed to gain weight after following my plan. I realize its only an illusion. I'm sure that my starting weight should have been about five pounds higher but OUCH!
Anyway, onward and downward...
