I'm Back

I'm not expecting anyone to read these blogs.  I'm blogging for me, it helps me process the day.  If you would like to comment it would be awesome for the encouragement I seem to lack at times.

I'm Back, Tuesday was my first day back on fitclick and going at it again.  I know I have the right frame of mind when I make the choice to change my life but my will power always dissappoints me.  I loose weight and inches when I stick to the plan and when I go on maintenance I always fall off.  So this time I'm not stopping till I've reached my goal.  My goal is 160 lbs but I will stop if my body says "Your there, Here is where I can maintain you".

I started walking Tuesday as well every morning at 5:30am.  I have tried doing evening workouts and find it to hard to sleep at night.  I liked afternoon workouts, but my schedule doesn't allow it these days.  So morning it is.  I like walking in the crisp cold air anyways.  Its invigorating to breathe so deeply and feel that cold fog fill my cramped lungs from wheezing all night in my sleep and I feel pumped and energized when I'm done with my adventure.  It's called an adventure because every morning my boyfriend has gone with me and he scans for paranormal activity on his phone during our walk.  LOL  We talk, we laugh or I laugh when I see him get excited.  (No my boyfriends not a kwack job, he thinks its funny and it passes our time quickly).

Today is Wednesday PST 9:40pm and I have to pat myself on the back.  I walked at 5:30am 1mile in 25min.  I'm 5'6 263.5 lbs so walking is not real difficult but not easy at the same time.  I have asthma on top of my weight so breathing proves to be the most frustrating factor I face.  Even with obsticles I finished my walk within my 30 min allotment I gave myself to walk the mile so accomplishment one "check",  I had my shower and ate breakfast, snack, lunch, and dinner (dinner was on the go - I packed my dinner) and stuck to my meal plan.  Accomplishment two "Check".  I maintained exercise and food regiment while working, cooking two meals, housecleaning, horseback lessons (son), and basketball orientation (son again).  Accomplishment three "check".  And finally the biggest of all, I looked temptation in the face and said "GET LOST".  See, my ex husband loves to feed me junk and soda while he snacks on a yogurt and water so when I have a busy schedule with my son, who lives with my ex husband, McDonalds, Taco Bell, Subway they all call my name and he loves to reel me in by saying "I'm buying".  Of course he buys so he can choose the restaurant.  Well tonight I told him I wouldn't eat with him anymore because I can't eat out at restaurants for a long time mainly because I can't have carbs, or sugars.  He offered me all the stuff I couldn't have and I just kept my mouth on my water bottle.  Big fat Accomplishment four "CHECK".

I lost 2.5 lbs my first day and am hoping I see similiar results tomorrow morning.  Bed is calling and 5:30am comes real early.  Good night Fitclick.
