FBG 88 this morning. WOW I am darn happy with that reading. I had a fair share of carbs yesterday, but lots of activity and fiber helped. Not eating too late, esp, when having starch, or cereal, etc. I try not to eat too much carbs at my last meal, this helps with the glucose. I am so happy my readings are within healthy range. I may still be considered "pre diabetic" as I have had readings around 104-109. The Dr. told me as my blood sugar decreases, so will my neuropathy.  I have been very dilligent with my intake, even when on the higher side, I do the math and see that much of my carbs are GOOD ones, too. I have made a complete turnaround from how I used to eat. It would be a week or so b/f I ever ate veggies. How bad was that?! I now can not hardly go one day without my salad or spinach. I am so much better off by doing this, even if I feel like I would love to pig out I just don't. I have saved myself much in anguish and pain. I used to eat such an excess of sugar that I would get awful yeast/candida infections with crazy wild itching that would keep me up all night and the most intense, flaring, deep joint pain/arthritis, sometimes I couldn't even lift my leg or arm!  From cutting out the carbs/sugar, I have gotting rid of ALL OF IT, and now even my foot neuropathy seems to be subsiding. I am hoping that I will be able to make some moves towards losing more weight, however, as I need to drop a bunch more to be on the healthy charts. My body seems to be set at this weight. i will need to figure some strategy out.
