Losing Weight With the Flu

Wow! It is amazing how horrible you can feel with the flu! I had forgotten how miserable it really is. The last week and a half now I have been out with the flu. This means that I haven't been able to work out, but on the up side (though it is not healthy in any sense of the word!) I have hardly eaten a thing. That means in two weeks time now I am down 10 pounds! I'm finally starting to feel better and looking forward to being able to start working out again next week. I am going to finish out the weekend taking things nice and easy. My stomach is still a little on the uneasy side so I don't think getting back on the treadmill and pushing myself for the full three miles is the best way to get back into the groove of things.

Point of this post being...If anyone else out there is suffering from this horrible flu, you will start feeling better, and when you do, weigh yourself! You might be suprised at how much weight you may have lost! Also be sure to track your food and water intake every day no matter how horrible you feel. I know it stinks to even move when you don't feel well, but it's really important to keep up with your food log in order to keep on track. :)

My starting weight was 317 pounds. My goal weight is 155 pounds for a total amount of 162 pounds to lose. Having lost 10 pounds, I now only have to lose an additional 152 pounds. I only have 15 more pounds to lose before my first mini celebration, in which I am going to go out and buy myself a new pair of jeans. :) My goal is to have lost all of the weight by December 31, 2014.
