My first hurdle

I was so proud of myself yesterday!! I was at the store, and was getting shakey. I needed to eat something to level out my blood sugar. I usually grab a candybar and don't think twice about it. I kept looking at the calories in this small little thing in my hand. I grabbed one, put it back. Grabbed another, put it back. Finally realizing I had bananas in the cart and that would do, I tossed the candy bar idea and ate a banana when I got out to my car. That has always been one of my weaknesses. I get shakey, I kill my diet thinking that it's ok, I will make up for it when I work out. I think this time, I'm going to succeed with the diet and exercise!! I feel great!!
