I woke up with a killer headache this morning...but I still went on my walk! I left the house at 9am and walked 2.25 miles. Guess what? When I got home my headache was gone, which made me feel much more motivated. Once I got home I showered and then took out my smoothie blender and made my berry drink with green superfood powder, vanilla rice protien powder, stevia, almond milk, flax seed and chia seeds. That drink makes me feel full of energy afterwards, then I'm doing a morning snack, lunch, pm snack and dinner. I find that when I eat more often when I'm exercising that it aids a lot in losing weight. Oh...and the fun part...I'm drinking a gallon of water a day :). I feel like I'm about to float away! I'm definitely feeling more focused today on the second day then yesterday.
I realized that I finally need to focus on myself. I'm not working at the moment, my boyfriend of 9 years' grandmother moved in with us from NY. It's difficult caring for a 73 year old with early dementia but with having my time I'm hoping it will give me my time to only worry about me!
