About me: Married Mother of 2, 13 and 6. Now working daytime hours, previous to this I have worked 20 years of day/night shifts. I started a low carb weight loss plan 2 years ago, and did very well, losing 89 lbs. My goal was set too low, and I gained about 20 back immediatly, but was running and was happy with my body and was planning on maintaining at that weight. I ran my first 1/2 marathon in Oct of 2010, it felt wonderful....about 3 weeks after that I broke my ankle running, and the rehab took forever, and I became very depressed, and ate, and ate, and ate......
I started training again for a half marathon this June, but was battling the weight gain, as well as the de-conditioning and decided to cut back my distance goals and work on shorter more repeetative runs focusing on fat burn, and re visit the 1/2 marathon one I had dropped some weight.
Although I sound down about the process, yes I am displeased about the weight gain , but I have come to some conclusions about my focus. I n
